ocr: From beginnings in early House music and deriving influences from stylesas diverse as Acid, Reggae, Soul and Techno,Jungle emerged as a unitying sound from a disillusioned and fragmented youth culture. Its roots can be traced through Motherland' by Tribal House, Dextrous's Nightmares On Wax' and the 'B' side of Unique Threes classic The Theme', among others. In 1988 Acid House came to Britain and this is where the Renk story begins. Ihroughout 1988-89Junior Hart,the founder of Renk Records,organised a seriesof Acid parties.
